My name is Preston Williams, and I received my PhD in Chemistry from University of California, Riverside and have over a decade of experience in early cancer research, focusing on proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics.
Our mission is deeply personal to me, inspired by my beloved dog, Kipper, who succumbed to undetected late-stage cancer at the very young age of six. Despite her vibrant health, she showed no symptoms until it was too late, a tragedy that drives our unwavering pursuit to revolutionize early cancer detection and guide effective treatment plans for pet parents to follow.

Dr. Nathan Price is Professor and Co-Director of the Center for Human Healthspan at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, and also the Chief Scientific Officer of Thorne, a science-driven wellness company that serves 5 million+ customers and 47,000 health-care practitioners. Previously he was CEO of Onegevity, an AI health intelligence company that merged with Thorne in 2021, and was Professor and Associate Director of the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle for a decade.
He is co-author with biotechnology pioneer Lee Hood of a 2023 bestselling book, The Age of Scientific Wellness, published by Harvard University Press. In 2019, he was named one of the 10 Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine by the National Academy of Medicine, and in 2021 he was appointed to the Board on Life Sciences of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
He was the chair of the NIH Study Section on Modeling and Analysis of Biological Systems (MABS) from 2018-2020. He is also a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering and was the 2023 recipient of the Alexander & Mildred Seelig Award for science from the American Nutrition Association.

Dr. Paul Kearney’s passion is working at the intersection of healthcare, data science and innovation where many of the hardest societal and clinical unmet needs can be found and addressed through partnership, data exploration and focused, persistent hard work.
Prior to joining Sera Prognostics, Dr. Kearney co-founded multiple successful biotech companies resulting in the development and commercialization of breakthrough products in the disease areas of oncology, pregnancy and food allergy as well as technological products in bioinformatics and proteomics. Dr. Kearney has extensive experience building and nurturing integrated teams, conducting clinical research, developing evidence for improved health outcomes as well as fund raising.
Kearney has published over 100 papers in diverse areas and awarded over 12 patents. Past experiences include the Institute for Systems Biology, Integrated Diagnostics, Caprion (now CellCarta), Data Incites, Bioinformatics Solutions, AllerGenis as well as a member of the Computer Science Faculty of the University of Waterloo. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
